National Philanthropy Day® (NPD) is a special day set aside each November. The purpose of this day is to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy -- and those people active in the philanthropic community -- to the enrichment of our world.
Every year, AFP San Antonio hosts a very successful National Philanthropy Day®, which proves to be our major revenue generator. At our 2011 National Philanthropy Day® luncheon we hosted almost 500 people and celebrated the achievements of 8 honorees.
Each year, members of AFP San Antonio are asked to nominate individuals, foundations and corporations who serve as exemplary examples of the philanthropic spirit in San Antonio. Information about nominations and registration for National Philanthropy will be posted soon.
